mySpot | Willie to run next year?

One slot reservation for tv-show host Willie Revillame was offered by Sen. Manny Villar from the Nacionalista Party (NP). The question is, is he willing to run for the senatorial position???

Willie might be "qualified" to run but that doesn't mean na he should enter the world of politics. He belongs to the showbiz world. What are the qualifications needed to become a senator? Do you need to be rich person? Do you need to be popular?

I guess it would be better if he will not run next year. He should focus more on his career and on his business but not politics. Ano na lang ang mangyayari sa Pilipinas pag lahat ng artista pumasok sa pulitika? If he wants to help the people, he can do it without being a politician.

We're not criticizing him. This is just not a good idea for him with all the issues and controversies that is currently happening. But if he wants to become a senator and accept the offer, then go. But the fate is in the hands of the voters (???).

Ok, Lets say he becomes a senator. Then after that would he run for the vice-president position??? or the presidential position??? Then his face would be placed on the money??? Huh???

We might have different opinions, different minds for thinking. But I guess in this time of global recession, we don't need a rich politician. We don't need popularity and extravagant dinners. What we need is unity and cooperation to become one and to have faith in God that we will surpass each problems that we have. :D

mySpot | It's too late to apologize

This post might be too late to be shared but for those who does not have an idea about this, let me share it to you.

I already heard this issue from someone before but this topic was discussed during our breakfast in the Lunch Table.
It was about Willie Revillame's reaction during his Wowowee show in ABS-CBN last monday while the remains of late president Cory Aquino was being transfered from La Salle Green Hills to Manila Cathedral.

During the cortege, a small snippet of the live telacast was being aired while wowowee is also on air. Willie said "’Di po maganda. Nagsasaya kami dito habang nagluluksa ang sambayanang Pilipino. ’Di ko magagampanan ang pagpapatawa habang ipinapakita ang libing ng dating presidente." on which he asked the snippet to be removed.

With this, there are so many people/viewers who reacted with this. Even social networks and blogs are eyeing on this hot issue with willy on the hot seat.

Well for me, it should be the show that should be cancelled so that they could air the live telecast on full screen. Or better yet, he did not made his remarks while the show was on air. There are so many people who reacted about this issue. And some made an online petition to oust Willie on his show.
