Who is better in terms of knowing the truth? Is it the Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell or Dr. Cal Lightman???If you are not familiar with the two, Mother Confessor is one of the lead cast in the series Legend of the seeker, and Dr Cal is the deception expert/scientist from the series Lie to Me, both running on it's second season.
Both of them has the ability to know is someone is telling the truth. They also have their own ways of knowing which one is saying the truth. But which one of them is better???
Mother Confessor knows if someone is telling the truth by just looking at them, or sometimes, she have to use her powers to confess someone. But these powers weaken her and the person she confessed fells in love with her. The only thing that will break the confessor's power is to kill her. But still, she get's to know the truth.
Meanwhile, Dr Cal Lightman and his team gets to know if someone is telling the truth by just looking at them and observing their actions. But he still needs to create a baseline to know when a person is lying or not.
Both lived on different time and they are just fictional characters from these series, but if you know them, you might wonder which one is better... Not unless Damon (from the Vampire Diaries) took away their memories and changed it with other thoughts. Both will find it difficult to learn the truth... Lol...
