mySpot | Agas Agas Bridge (Tallest Bridge in Philippines) and Zipline

One of the highlights in my Leyte Vacation was that overwhelming (skin-burning) whole day motor cycle tour to the southern part of Leyte. And thanks to my Nanay Luz for bringing me to what they say now as The Longest Zip Line in the Philippines on the tallest bridge which is also in the country.

We started our journey in Abuyog riding a single motorcycle going to Silago. Then to Hinunangan, San Juan, passed thru the mountains of St. Bernard, going up to Sogod, then we reached the Agas Agas Bridge where the zip line is located. Check the map screen shot below for the route.
Of course we had a few (actually, there were plenty) stop overs and we have to refill the gas and we have to rest also. Once we got there, it was in the middle of the mountainous regions of Sogod, Leyte.

Before you can go try out the zip line (and the cable car), you have to pay Php 5.00 (five) pesos for the entrance fee (what?!)  And then ticket for the zip line was about (darn, I forgot) 150 or 200 Pesos per ride.

The zip line ride was very exciting, (better than the ones i had before), and it was about 50 - 60 seconds long... and that was very fast... and one of the best part of it is that you'll get to have a nice top view of the Agas Agas Bridge. During the ride, I was holding my phone to take a video and it was very scary but it was fun. I'll post the video soon.

Since the distance is from the starting point to the end of the zip line is kinda very long, there will be a motorcycle service that will lead you back to the top again.
You'll also find a few souvenir shops selling t-shirts and a few stuffs, snacks and drinks (word to the wise: be careful when buying snacks, foods, or drinks...actually i don't know why, but they just told me to avoid it...)

Oh. Did I forgot to mention that getting there is not that very easy... Commuting is NOT an option. It's either you have your own vehicle or you can arrange a trip there with the local tourist guides while in the city .

Attached is the map below where the purple spot is the location of the Agas Agas Bridge.
