Good Morning everyone! After August 5 was declared as a special non-working holiday, let's see what are the other holidays this month.

According to the calendar, August 31 (Monday) is a regular holiday in celebration of the National Heroes Day. August 21 (Friday) is also a special non-working holiday for the Ninoy Aquino Day.

It's gonna two long weekends for us so prepare your DVDs if you're planning for a movie marathon. Or you could go out with your family and friends for a special bonding moment.

I'm not sure what i'm going to do that day... Maybe i'm gonna hit the gym in the morning and visit my friends in the afternoon... Watch some movies... and other things too...

mySpot | August 5 was declared Non-Working Holiday

August 5, 2009 (Wednesday), was the scheduled date for the burial of the late former president Cory Aquino. She will be buried beside her husband Ninoy Aquino, in Manila Memorial Park.

To commemorate the late president, Malacañang declared the said date as a Special Non-working holiday as for the Filipinos to pay respect and appreciation to Cory.

Even President Gloria Arroyo would cut short her trip to US for her to be able to attend the funeral.

I'm sure this is the kind of holiday everyone would NOT be so excited of. No classes and no work on that day.
